Ok, below are some things we needed to do for the beginning of the quarter anyway, and today seems like a good time to plug those things in and get them done.
First up, set your goals for IRP for THIS QUARTER!!!! Remember to set challenging but realistic goals; MANY of you didn't conference on many books this past quarter, so that might be a good goal to put in there somewhere. Before you set those goals, I'd like you to look at your portfolios and see how you scored this quarter for IRP. Then, fill out the goals below...
Next, sign up for google docs (if you haven't already). Go to docs.google.com, and fill in the rest.
Once signed up, download the following doc, upload it to your account, and start filling out as much as you can.

Click on the link below to fill out the survey. When you're done, simply click "Submit."
Below is a link to what we did in class each day, as well as what to do if you missed class and what homework you have for next class. Use it to keep up to date on all that happens in room 107!
I know we already took one survey (IRP), but here are a few more I'd like you to take.
The first is on the parts of speech - we'll use this to figure out where to start and what to focus on during English Mechanics.
The second is similar to the IRP survey you did earlier, but the English department needs you to fill this out so that we can have data on the whole school. So, please take a minute or 2 to fill it out.

Ok - one more thing to fill out. It isn't a survey, per se, but is a form for your IRP goals for this quarter.
Click here for the IRP goals form.
Thanks!! - - Mr. M
