Hello, and welcome to the online extension of Room 117. My name is Ryan Middleswart, and I'm teaching 5 periods of English 10/10b and 2 electives - "Media and Literature" and "Sports and Literature" - at Nokomis. Hopefully, if you've found this site, it means you as a parent are interested in having the ability to keep an eye on what your student is doing in my class. This is one of the main reasons I created this site, for it gives both parents and students a place to check and see what happened each day in class. To see this information, simply click on the "Absent? Look Here!" tab at the top of the page. This will take you to a constantly updated blog that details what was done in class for the day and what, if any, homework was assigned. Also on this page, you will find downloadable documents that were used in class. So, if your student missed class and we did an activity over, say, the Chivalric Code, you can download the activity, print it off, and have your child complete the activity and hand it in. I hope this will make keeping up with missed work easier for everyone.
